“Beautiful Day” is an original song Lucas Grabeel created for his new friend and rock star, 10-year-old Samantha, from Chicago. Lucas and Samantha met each other when the song was finished and their singing and dancing were filmed. In honor of Samantha and her amazing spirit, Lucas asked family, friends, co-workers, and fans from around the world to particitpate in the video by sharing what makes their day beautiful. The song and video were created through Music is Medicine, a nonprofit that connects pediatric patients with artists who create original, uplifting songs for each child. ALL the proceeds from song sales are donated to pediatric oncology research at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
